What is a TFT Display?
A Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) display is an advanced type of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) that incorporates thin-film transistor technology to enhance image quality. TFT technology is widely used across a range of applications, including computers, smartphones, automotive dashboards, industrial systems, and medical equipment.
Our TFT displays feature active-matrix LCD technology with full RGB colour capability. These displays deliver bright, vibrant colours and are capable of rendering fast animations, detailed graphics, and custom font sets.
Most standard TFT displays use Twisted Nematic (TN) technology, offering fundamental performance features such as a broad operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, fixed viewing angles at either 12 o’clock or 6 o’clock, and support for full-motion graphics. TN TFTs provide a cost-effective solution for applications requiring high-quality, full-colour visual output.
